PERSONAL BUSINESS HISTORY

Born and raised in the South Okanagan into a family business that was a fruit farming orchard specializing in raising mainly peaches and apples. A graduate of SFU in Burnaby, BC with a degree in Business Administration, having worked each Summer with the family business to self-finance my education. Worked with BIC Canada in the consumer packaged goods industry for 3 years in Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg. Returned to Vancouver to work for 14 years within the telecom industry with CTG, BCTel, and Telus. For the past 4 years, have been professionally coaching businesspeople across British Columbia. Also an entrepreneur with two other business ventures.

Active member of the Surrey Board of Trade, where I facilitate the New Member Orientations and Business Breakfast Roundtable events .

Member of the BC Chapter of CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.

BUSINESS ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Am a Business & Corporate Coach, Sales Mentor, and Certified Teleclass Leader with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree from Simon Fraser University (major in Marketing, minor in Accounting). Am a Certified Trainer in CRG Personality Profiling assessment tools.

Received professional coaching training from The Graduate School of Coaching, The Thomas Leonard School of Coaching, The School of Small Business Coaching and am currently enrolled in The Graduate School of Corporate Coaching. Am a member of CoachVille (an international community of professional coaches), as well as the International Association of Coaches (IAC).

Have over 20 years' business-to-business sales experience in the corporate marketplace - Having worked with BIC, CTG, BCTel & TELUS, have sold over $50 Million in products and services.

Write and produce articles and content for various publications that address professionals in public practice and small business owners: their people-related issues, challenges, and opportunities.

Have a select practice of weekly 1-on-1 coaching clients. Also work with several corporations and professional organizations in various training, coaching, and consulting capacities.
